So I dropped my car off this morning, because it started making a grinding noise... Which I thought was the brakes that needed to be checked.... It's been about a year it was time anyways right...
Yup need new brakes ($400), and a new ball joint ($400), and front tires ($100), and hood latch ($75) and bearings ($100)....
Damn if that $1000 bonus isn't gone twice over now....
Okay, I'll get the brakes and bearings dona, and deal with rest later....
Then I must get my crap out of storage NOW and use that money instead to buy new car....

Date: 2004-10-05 07:58 pm (UTC)I can probably pull ~$10K out of my 401K when I get the last loan there paid off. Which I hope to do maybe next month-ish... (Hopefully the Ball-joint and tires will last through that)
