What a night
Jan. 26th, 2001 09:36 amWell, It certainly was cold last night.....
How do I know this? I was without heat for an evening.
You see the boiler of the old heating system started producing lots of soot,
so just as prices on natural gas are about to go up. my landlords decide to
replace the old oil burner (which only costs me about $400/YEAR to heat my apt)
witha brand new gas one. (insert sarcasm here) Yay......
And this morning was oh so much fun too.....
The workers showed up (for the second day) at 7:30 am.....
and additionally had to shut the water off. Fortunately they were so loud takng with the land lord in the basement that A and I heard this and were able to get our showers in before they came up. Although I was up too early and forgot to shave.
Tonight should be good D & N are comming down from Vermont and will be at MR tonight and the Flea tommorow.
As for the FLea, I'm not shure I'll make it due to too many sceduling conflicts, But A and I will try to be there after she gets ot of work. Hopefully we'll be able to find some people, and parties.... (Let me know if any one wants to get together)
