Well lets look into the past: (based on Di's retrospective.)

10 years ago...
fall 1991.

10 years ago i was a college drop out.
10 years ago i was engaged to my then fiance, now ex-wife.
10 years ago i owned my own computer consulting firm.
10 years ago i made ~$28k /year (but due to a client paying late only had ~$14k)
10 years ago my best friends were my business parter and my weekend gamming crew.
10 years ago Gerry Garcia was still alive.
10 years ago i was listening to the the Greatfull Dead, Meatloaf, and Dr Demento and wearing my black jeans and t-shirts
10 years ago i had no health insurance.
10 years ago i was recovering from Emergancy surgery to remove a gangenous gall bladder.
10 years ago i was mis-diagnosed as having stomache flu
10 years ago i had been learning to fence in the SCA.
10 years ago the home computer network had a sun 3, a souped up 286 (alterenately running DOS, minux, and Xinu), a mac II, and a backdoor internet connectin through Harvard U.
10 years ago my grand mother was still alive.
10 years ago my daughter was not even a twinkle in her parents' eyes.
10 years ago polyamory was something I had only read about in Heinlin, and known of people doing at SCI Fi Cons
10 years ago i had never been with multiple partners simultaneously.
10 years ago i had never had a license. (Just never bothered to get it)
10 years ago i didn't know that i liked bdsm play, although I suspected.
10 years ago i was 23 1/2.

and right now I don't think it made any difference.

Weird part was I had fallen off the city's list of registered voters, but the old guy sitting there recognized my name and knew where I lived. (and it turns out he's my land lady's cousin)

I just couldn't drag myself out of bed this morning. I wasn't asleep or tired. I just didn't want to come in and deal today, but here I am

Hmmm... Saw a bunch of talk about the new teaser-trailer yesterday.

It's ok for what it is. Given that SOOO much of the basic plot is guessable from everything else Star Wars related. I don't begrudge them any attempts to hide whats going to happen so that we can enjoy the suprises as they come on screen. But I like the trailer they relased last year better.

You can see more faces, and putting the two together makes for some interesting scenes :-)
