Happy Holidays.....

Whew it's been a while sine I've had the time and inclination to post an update so here goes:

Work: Same suckage different month. For the second time "they" (The higher ups), after telling us it's ok to hire someone to fill the vacancy in our dept and letting us go ahead and interview people for the position, have told us that is yet again been put on hold as they try to figure out "HOW" they want to reorganize.

But at least this will be a quiet week. Nobody is in for where I work this morning, and I don't expect anyone in in the afternoon area. :-)

Xmas: Was pretty good. Nice time with my family at my sisters. A and her OSO and I had dinner the night before, and she went to spend some time up there. (oops I forgot to ask her when she'd be back)
B snet a few days with her family and family friends. Came back and she and I spent the evening watching videos. (I had to rewire the darn DVD player to get sound to work. Hmmm need to figure that out at some point)

My car: Is currently in the shop the battery seems to have died. $75 for a replacement. Well thank goodness for xmas gifts of money.

Arisia: I've got to double check with the hotel they're having problems with receiving the faxes with hotel reservations.

I think I might try to head out to ManRay tonight, if the car is working. wheee...

B and I should be going - if you can get yourself there we could give you a ride home if the car is still unhappy (keep in mind though, we normally leave early since I need to be at work at 8:00 in the morning).

You can use my car if yours isn't working by tonight. I've got an appointment from 7-8, and then I'm home babysitting for the downstairs neighbors so they can finally go see LOTR.

Just let me know and we'll figure out how to get my car to you.
