lensmanOk there have just been ONE FUCKING TOO MANY THINGS Agravating me today.
Warning! Venting ahead....
Ok You were warned....
One of the asses I work with decided to take off. Well He ended up leaving one of the his users in a lurch and I get a call from the director of support asking me to arrange to fix the problem.
On one hand I'm glad the higher ups called me as the fix-it person on the other hand It's not the first time this individual has had to have his ass covered.
Another dept has had a new drive for their server waiting to be installed, It's been put off for a couple of weeks due to other more pressing problems (Like the Dept Head's screwy machine setup) Well I finally get in to deal with the hard drive install only to find out they didn't talk to any of the techs, and ordered the WRONG FUCKING TYPE OF DRIVE
Additionally that very same Dept, and the very same cow-orker, managed to scew up a new machine order. There is a REASON that large insstitutions or companies order certain types of hardware / software combinations. One of the BEST is so that it is all running compatible drivers and software. Thats why companies like Dell more expensive models like the Optiplex Line. The Dimensions are for HOME USE. Well that cow-orker ordered a dimension, and it came shippeed with WinXP (Not a bad OS in and of itself), but it isIJNCOMPATABLE WITH THE SOFTWARE WE NEED TO RUN HERE!
And finally A has managed to annoy me today! (I know she probably didn't mean to, but it just happened at the wrong time.)
