Well I "Finally" had time this morning before work to go over and get my POS car inspected.
When low and behold it failed the inspection.... :-/ (Yeah I was kinda expecting that, but it's still a pain.)

So what did they find wrong:
- The driver side headlight is loose
- The passenger side headlight isn't bright enough
- The frount end is loose
- There is an exhaust leak.
- and the emergancy brake doesn't hold...

additionally he "Could have failed it" because the seat woobles, or the door is bent with a large gap between it and the frount quarter panel.

Now the real descision, do I put the extra money into the bloody thing to fix the list of problems and get it re-inspected or should I just dump it, and buy a "new" (to me anyway) car. I only spent $1400 on the thing five years ago, so it has served its time well. (Despite breaking down due to a faulty ignition circuit on the way to Pennsic a couple of years ago, and blowing the belt on the way home from pennsic the year after that.)

And to top it all off I get a note in the mail about a class action suit vs Ford for those Ignition circuits. (bunches of leagalease mumbo jumbo, that boils down to I could get the cost of replacing that circuit covered, If I knew what it was and could produce the documentation. Feh, more trouble than it'd be worth.)
