Still no e-mail access

They originally said fixed by 5pm but it looks like the disk copy is taking longer than expected :-(

Oh well at least I have an internet connection and LJ to whine about it in :-/



So the first day of class went as about I expected it to....

We installed SQL Server... (Not like I haven't done THAT a few dozen times...)
Lunch was good. I had a nice juicy hamberger....

There was too much to do this weekend again, but isn't that alway the way it goes. Overall I had a great time.....

Friday was spent clearing up all the last little details for my being away for a week. While it was busy I got a bunch accomplished, which always feels good.

Sat was dionysia's wedding. B and I got up a little later than orignally planned, but I had allowed for it in my time estimates. :-) (Though just barely... I seem to be getting better with practice)

We got there early enough to get good seats with the netgoth crowd. They all spuce up nicely, but as someone pointed out most of the guys looked like they were pulled out of a Soprano's episode. :-)

catling was officiating, and sounded good up there. I was a little worried about her, given the few entries I saw the day before, until she started speaking and I could hear in her voice that she was holding together okay.

sweetsbmsn and Red had a nice reading together, but they both need top work on PROJECTING ;-) I could barely hear them and they had a microphone......

It was the first time I've gotten a chance to see little bee, she was adorable, and Red really was impressive with her carrying her around and playing with her.

I managed to get a bit of a sunburn.... Yeah big suprise there....

After the wedding and reception which would take too long for me to type to describe B and I went home before heading to the afterparty in Waltham. B and I both crashed for a bit, and she was too wiped from the day to continue. I nearly was myself, and so it seemed were most people. :-) I got there about a 1/2 hour later than planned. and we had a good dinner, and drinks and chatted a bunch. but the exhaustion seemed to finally catch up with everyone by 10:30.

Sunday B and I slept untill 1-1:30 ish... We had plans to go meet up with bess, but we wanted to get SOME housework and yard work done. So we changed it to dinner and a video. Unfortunately B lost her purse while we were out at dinner and we didn't realize it until we were about to head home.

Mon - I managed not to oversleep, since I had to be out here for and 8:30 class in Worcester. I just barely made it due to the traffice on 128.... Yeah i could have used some back roads to make it quicker, butthen I don't know the back roads out this way.... So now I sit in a hotel contemplating dinner, and posting to LJ....

Oh dear, no one else told us that! Geesh...

And "proud papa" does suit Red pretty well, don't you think? :)

It was so nice to see you both, but too brief...maybe we should think about dinner plans sometime?

Yesh that sums it up nicely..... Kinda makes me envious on what I missed out on... :-) You're both pretty lucky people. :-)
