What a day

lensmanWell It was mostly quiet on the western front....
I woke up far too early for some god forsaken reason, and then when B woke up we had a light breakfast, as her friend R was showing up so they could run off to see a movie. (The new one with Hugh Grant, I forget the name, but "chick flick" time). I was gonna watch some anime, but ended up spending the day getting the AC removed from the front window.
Met B and R after their movie for dinner at Outback... Synchonisity as I was listening to a Dr. Demento tape and it was playing the old "Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport" song.... B didn't feel like attending the party being thrown by one of my soon-to-be ex-cow-orkers, So I dropped her off. It was a pretty good party, although I hardly knew anyone there. which was kind of an odd thing fro me. I haven't felt so out of place since I stared working at this job nearly 4 years ago, and even then I didn't socialize much at with co-workers.
Ran into one of my other soon-to-be ex-cow-orkers, had a chance to meet her new BF. Seems like a nice guy, kinda quiet, or was that the fact that the stereo was so load. :-) Turns out they were talking about LJ... Glad your doing okay, and have the new work to start covering things, Good Luck. Heh, finally had a chance to tell her in a non-work situation that I had stumbled across her LJ....
Made me think about how compartamentalized I keep my life. Don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing, it just is....

catling at yesterday's party, I've been so out of the loop lately... and there has just been too much shit hitting too many fans... I'm looking forward to January being over. I think I'll try and take some real time off... Where I don't even have access to LJ and e-mail...
It's now 2am, Time for sleep....
