What a way to start the week

So after spending far too much time at work last week.... Things finally caught up with me on Sunday and I ended up exhausted with the sinus headache from hell...

I was stuffed so badly the it felt like I was blowing my brains out when I woke up... Which appearently I nearly did as I ended up with a nose bleed that took quite a bit of tissue to stop...

That was followed up with an e-mail from my mom letting me know that a family friend passed away... He was a nice guy... I haven't seen any of them in quite a while. (Since the divorce actually, now that I think of it.) I grew up with his kids. His daughter even set me up on my first blind-date. :-/

We then went to see "HERO". Good movie, beautiful sceenes.

Then B and I crashed...

This morning as I was heading into work I got a call from my mom, and now my brother is going into the hospital for urgery in a couple of days... Turn houtt he has sleep apnia (sp?), and a deviated septum, they may also be removig his tonsils. Plus something to do with the soft ppallet tissue....

sleep apnea can be pretty serious, as it puts great strain on the heart over time. Just last week I had a conversation with the guy at the eye glass store, who had an operation for his sleep apnea that sounds just like what they'll do to your brother: removed tonsils, which were enlarged and narrowing his windpipe; fixed the deviated septum; removed some overgrowth of soft palate. Anyway, the guy says he feels 80% better, gets more oxygen to his brain, whereas before he was falling asleep at the wheel driving in to work every morning no matter how many hours of supposed sleep he got. So. . . it's a good thing your brother is attending to this!

But It's slow...

I'm probably not going to N4. I just don't really have the psycic energy for all that. I'll only be stopping in at N4 for Collete's engagement party, but I may stop in to help with the A05 party as well depending on how I feel...

I'm currently planning on spending the day Sat painting our bed-room while B is off in NYC with her mother again. (If we can decide on a color) :-)
