Hmm There just been too much life happening recently lets see if I can remember the highlights....

But first I'll start with:
- A congrats for the SpaceShip One team who have completed their first flight in th running for the X-Prize, but I had to laugh when I saw this annonced:

Virgin-Galactic

Last night went out and hit the mall with B and a friend of hers.
I managed to pick up a Model of the "USS Enterprise NX-01"

I haven't built any models in a while and I want to get back into doing that.... (Yeah another hoby for me to find time for... but it'll be nice to be able to build something concrete...) I used to do this, and I have a few 1/2 finished ones that I should dig out and complete, but I think I want to start fresh....

B's mom is not doning well and she is teribly stressed out about this... She'll be going back to NYC again on friday. I'll be joining her on sat and sun....

I'd be going Friday, but my boss's bachelor party is that night after work.... I'm really torn about this. On one hand I want to go, be a part of the team, blow off steam from work, but on the other hand I'm really worried about B. She doesn't do well in NYC, and being on the phone everyday with her family could drive her 'round the bend....

With everything else I get mail letting me know that my mom's been having her own health issues with double vision. The doctors did a blood test and an MRI. So, they have been able to rule out Diabetes, brain tumor, stroke, etc...
She then saw an eye specialist and he was able to pin-point the cause of the double vision as being related to heart disease. A piece of placque in the blood has blocked a small blood vessel that feeds one of the muscles in her left eye. The doctor says this has caused a temporary paralysis which limits the movement in that eye and causes the double vision. There is no direct treatment for this kind of bockage, but there is a 90% chance that she'll get back 100% of her vision... But that it could take up to 6 months to clear up..... Wheee just what she needs....

The Florida part of my family have passed though the rounds of huricanes down there with only minor property damage....

Well time to go grab some lunch....

The V.G. concept is so cool!

Sorry for your mothers' health problems, hope they're both doing better very soon!

Thanks
