For some reason I woke up early this morning and couldn't go back to sleep. This after staying at work late while B cleaned out her office in preperation to reduce her hours and make space for them to hire a new person, & working on a pair of servers that needed updating (I have about 12 total that need work of some sort [You know the usual preventative maintainence, so it's been a bit backedup with other priorities], I got two nearly done last night.)

So I started in on the pile of Tech rags I've been meaning to read, and see what the "industry analysts" have to say... I lost track of time and before I knew it B was up and we were running late, I had even managed to miss the fact that the garbadge collectors had come by early while I was reading... (Yes I was engrossed in the tech journals, like Scotty from Star Trek...)

As we're getting the last bits done and we're running out the door B is putting out the morning meal for the cats, and finds Rufus dead under the dinning room table. He was lying there in the same place where we had thought he was sleeping when we went to bed last night.

If that wasn't enough two of the servers that needed updating (not the two I worked on last night) locked up, and I missed three calls from clients looking for them. As well as comming in to find some dead workstations, and our repair shop is short staffed this week, so they aren't doing pick ups.... Jeeze....
