So B and her ex husband went to NYC on Thursday,, and I went to work. It was actually a pretty good day, things went quickly and the scheduled meetings went a lot faster than I Originally though they would.

I got out early enought that I arranged to have dinner with

cintyber, after getting the tent poles and clambshell for

hakamadare and

chaiya to take to pennsic.

cintyber was a BIG HELP getting the clambshell out of the garrage, and the racoon shit cleaned off of it. After getting it loaded on

hakamadare car,

cintyber and I went for dinner at Bugaboo creek. Then I went home B called and had misplaced some cards. We spent some time looking for them, and then after doing the animal chores, I hit the sack early.

The next morning B called to see if we'd heard back from someone, and I had a little breakfast before crashing and then getting myself ready for heading out to meet B in NYC. I was just about done when I realized I needed to give our big diabetic cat, Gwywdion, his morning shot, but I could find him anywhere. I was in the middle of looking for him when

chaiya showed up, for us to go get the tent out of storage. That's when I found him lying under B and my bed. He never goes under the bed, and he didn't move when I touched him. He was just getting stiff, and his head was lying in a pool of drool. I was in shock. The last I could remember seeing him was the night before when I gave him his nightly shot, and he seemed fine....

I had to call B and tell her over the phone, while she was in the middle of getting things done at the bacnk in NY. That sucked but I couldn't leave for the train with out tellling her, because

grovegoddess and her SO were comming in for the Flea, and they were going to take care of the cats.

chaiya was an incredable help cleaning up while I made phone calls and tried to get my head working again, and then she drove Gwydion and I to the vets so that we could get him cremated... According to the vet she said it appeared from the look of his tounge and eyes that he had some kind of seizure.

Then

chaiya and I drove over and got the tent and some wooden chairs for them to use at Pennsic, got some lunch and she dropped me off at South station to catch the train. On the way there She was having "a blond moment", and I completely cracked her up by showing my true blondness and making a squeak, that she just was NOT expecting. :-)

The train ride was uneventful. Though a bit slow since they were behind schedule due to the heat., but when I did get in B and I grabbed som sushi for dinner.... :-) There is a great place nearby on columbus.

Today was spent first trying to drop off the cable boxes, and then getting and loading the truck with the last of the stuff from NY. We also got to see the work they did on the larger half of the apt (a full through) on the 2nd floor. I'll post the pictures later, but it looks good.

Then it was the long drive back, we made fairly good time, and arrived to see

grovegoddess and her SO before they started their journey to Pennsic.

B and I finnished dinner while I wrote this post, and it's time for us to fall down and go boom now...
