But given the way this administration rewards it's people for screwing up I am surprised to hear that FEMA director Mike Brown Resigned today.

"The president ducked questions about Brown's resignation. "Maybe you know something I don't know. I've been working," RIIIIGHT!!!! I'll bet John Stewart has a ball with that line on "The Daily Show" tonight.

The article also goes on to say: "Polls show most Americans believe Bush could have done more to help Katrina's victims" You know, I'm not really sure there is anything that they REALLY COULD HAVE DONE... I mean it's just not in their nature to think of others before themselves... Because lets face it they were all dealing with their summer vacations like a pack of 6th graders, so they weren't even in town to notice things going wrong, and the people who were supposed to be working only worked to cover their own asses...

No I think he meant he didn't know why Brown had resigned.... But it that's certainly another interpretation that could be made....

He doesn't know what's been going on b/c he's been working? (boggle) Ok, if he's working he should know what's going on... but I don't think kicking back at the ranch counts as working...
