Ok I've been realy slow about almost all forms of contact with people in recovering from Pennsic. For that I'm sorry.

I'm still feeling drained but things are starting to look up. :-)

Thinking about the plastic models that Bunicula had been putting together got me thinking about the ones I still had sitting in boxes from before I got married. (I'm still not sure why I stopped working on them, but there just never seemed to be a good time/place to do them when my ex and I were together.)

So this past weekend as A and I were waiting to be seated at Outback, I ran into the Toy R Us and got a new set of supplies (Paints, Glue, etc). When we got home I tore into a "Star Trek" model I'd had sitting arround (An original series Kilingon D7). This put me in a good mood until I lost one of the pieces. (That, or it was never in the box to begin with)

Sunday was an Arisia staff BBQ, and once I got there it started with a bang.... Literally... :-)

I had brought a bottle of homemade mead, and placed it on the counter. I had turned around to tal to someone and one of the staff went to open the bottle. I hadn't thought anyone would want some that soon. Well lets just say that this was a "SPARKELING!!!" mead. :-) In less than 10 seconds nearly two liters of mead became fizz, which was sprayed ALL over that corner of the apt. :-)

Monday morning I had the "talk" with the errant cow-orker. It went ok..... (Arrgggg!!! work is calling gotta run I'll finish this shortly)

(Ok, I'm back, now on with the story)

I also had a presentation to give at work. On installing and running Apache on the Win32 platform with SSL certificates. :-) Unfortunately it didn't come off as smoothly as I would have liked it to. The binary installer I downloaded just didn't work. (Arrrgggg!!!!!)

Then last night a brain storm hit me and I was able to come up with a way of replacing the missing peice of the model I'm working on. :-) I was able to mold copy of the missing piece out of some spare pastic parts, and the remains of the modeling putty I had from my old modeling kit. All that remains at this point is to fabricate a grill frount for the missing piece.
