My guess is the pressure to graduate and the grades weren't what they hoped.... (Graduation is in 3 days)

It was a suicide -- kid ran up to the roof (access was open due to elevator work) and ran past the two workmen who were there and jumped. It was pretty horrific (I was in the building when it happened and saw more than I want to remember). He looked pretty young, so my guess is that it was a student :(

I don't remember that building as being high enough to insure death. S/he was taking a chance on being crippled for life instead. I guess they'll test for drugs too.

Oh, how horrible! I'm sorry you're having to deal with that. (Though I'm sure it's much worse for the kid's family.)
