One albatros down one to go

The server upgrade from hell is DONE :-)

A few minor issues left to deal with now that it is back in place for some software they want to upgrade, but now we have the space to to the upgrades :-)

After that I went to deal with what is usually a quiet contract and the issues weren't all that bad, but it has the potential to develope into a new year long albatros. (I don't want to deal with that untill I get this last one off me though.)

And then for something compleatly different. A friend of mine just dumped a $40k networking job in my lap. We'll be writting the proposal this week. (I'm a little worried that this might balloon on us though.)

Well.... It could but I don't think I'm going to go for that. I don't like the constant need to sell yourself that owning your own business involves. The only way I'd own a business again was with sufficient startup capitol to hire someone else to do that part of the business from the get go.

From a personally greedy standpoint, the timing of this sux scizzors. 'Coz you've got all that planning for Arisia coming up now too.

We will definitely have to clone you. Or maybe have group sessions. :-)
