It started off with things gettiog better last night. :-)

My boss told me that he FINALLY got the go-ahead to hire someone to replace one of the positions we lost last month. Now we just need to hire someone by the middle of the week after next. (It may start out as a temporary position as we need to move so damn fast)

Then I run off to my old job for some more training of the second guy they hired to replace me. (Yay consulting rates) ;-)

Things were a little screwed up with traffic last night, and it took me nearly 40 minutes to get from columbus ave to the Rt 90 on-ramp on Mass Ave due to construction all along Mass Ave :-(

This made me late for the dinner date I had with D&N (Which was ok since D didn't coordinate this with N and our scheduled time would have been too late for her anyway.) Good time hanging out when I finally got there. btw - They'll be at ManRay on Friday for those that wish to see them.

My original thoughts for the evening were that I'd hit ManRay myself last night but it was just too late for me to do that and A had come back from her trip and I wanted to see her, so home I went for a wonderful night of snuggling.

and this morning I awoke feeling beter than I have in a while, and the usually annoying person I sometimes have to deal with isn't in today. :-)

It looks like this will be a quiet day today. Which I need.

Now all I have to do is get someone good to come in and apply for the job here. {Fishing mode=on} Any takers? {/fishing mode}
