Weekend Update......
May. 6th, 2002 04:24 pmWith Jane Curtain and Chevy Chase.....
"Jane you ignorant slut...."
Well It's been a while so this might be more that just the last weekend...
I'll start with now and work backwards I guess. Just so I can try to get everything in perspective.
Right now I'm bored with work, sore and tired. There are a couple of things I could work on, but it's soo nice out that I don't want to. (Which just means I'll have to do them later when I would want to be doing something else then as well) :-)
I had a nice lunch with B and a friends of hers. She's a nice kid, but she annoys me (and from what I could tell she seems to annoy B a little too).
This morning was Ok, I got up a little late. (I seem to be doing that more and more lately.) Got some coffee on the way into work and wnet over to MicroCenter to get some parts for the servers in one of the departments I work in.
Last night I stayed up way too late with A watching a John Waters film.
Yesterday A and I woke up late. (I actually woke up a little earlier and went into the living room to watch a little TV. I watch too much TV at times I think, but some of it is soo compelling... )
After A and I got up we went for Breakfast and on the way home we were going to stop for some storage bins fro her winter sweaters and such... Well one thing led to another and some things that both A and B had said over the past coupe of months made me feel like getting the apt in better shape.
A has wanted to decorate the palec with her tastes a bit more, and B's place has given me a number of ideas for things I like. (including B... ;-) )
So we bought a slip cover for the couch, some curtains for the living room and bed room, some curtain rods for the living room, and the storage bins for Andrea's cloths.
I spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning taking down the old curtains, and re-aranging funiture. The Hall way is now a total disater as I have WAY TOO MANY books. I should either buy larger bookshelves, or I should just get rid of a lot of the books.... (I know I should do the second, but it's not easy to do.... Ok B you can stop laughing now....) :-)
Saturday, I finally got around to riveting the side of my car back into place so it can pas inspection. A and I then went out for lunch, and shopping for material for a new mideaval dress she wants to work on. I got some foam to line the AC into place in the window. I put that into place when we got home and passed out for 3.5-4 hours. had a late dinner, and stayed up late watching Frountier House. (A great little mini series about three families that were choosen to spend six months living in the tough conditions of 1883 homesteaders.) There's a part of me that would love to try something like that, but I love my technology adiction a bit too much I think.
Friday night saw Spider Man. It was well worth the money. :-) (In parts compleatly predicable, but that story's been told and retold by Marvel Comics and Stan Lee how many times now ? :-) )
Well B just called and were going to diner earlier than I originally thought so I guess I will just have to cute this short... Heh I guess its too late for that...

Date: 2002-05-07 02:14 pm (UTC)I don't like the frount hall way much either, but I'm not sure I want to put too much effort into this place. Maybe once A and i have gotten the book situation in the hall way figured out....
As for friday? I don't know yet. I hadn't planned that far in advance. Why will you be there?
Re:
Date: 2002-05-07 09:47 pm (UTC)Anyway... good luck with the books. Thanks to three shelves from Pandy we have most of C's books up on shelves... I haven't even thought about what to do with the contents of my trunk. I suppose I should do something with them rather that leaving them there until the couch poatoe moves out.

Date: 2002-05-07 02:19 pm (UTC)As to the book count off.... Hmmmm I think it'd be close (as long as we don't count magazines) :-)

Date: 2002-05-08 09:37 am (UTC)as for Friday and ManRay and your friends. . .you should go -- with or without me -- if you're not too exhausted from another week of weird clientele. :-) With might be more fun for me, but I'm nothing if not flexible. See, I can bend my thumb ALLLLL the way back!
