Well I've been at the new job now a lttle over 9 months, and I have got to say I like working here.

But todays news was just great, my boss called me in for a meeting (He thought we were supposed to have our bi-weekly today, but actually it should have been monday, so when I went in and showed him his e-mail we rescheduled it for right then.)

So we run through the usual, now last week he told me he had put me in for a promotion which made me elated just to be considered after such a short period.

Well today the news came through. I got the promotion and a nearly 10% raise. :-)

I probably will. A has the day off today and when I called her with the news she asked to take me out to dinner. So depending on what we end up doing I may get there around 9ish. Earlier if she's in the mood for Red-Bones..... :-)
