It was a pretty good night last night.

I didn't get everything done that I wanted to, but hey.... :-)

I got out of work vaugely on time.

I got home had dinner did a little more sorting.

I found an old friend tigerbright through LJ last week, and She has just moved into a new place only 4 or 5 blockls away from where I live now. It turned out that she'd be hosting this weeks Open Parlor Night for the Elbows/Suspects crowd (Elbows/Suspects are a pair of mailing lists, I originally joined back in '87ish, I think.) Damn it's been a long while. But that I fell off of them durring the transistion of Jobs two years ago. I should probably resubscribe at some point. I mean who ever gets enough e-mail.... ;-)

So after watchhing TV and finishing dinner I walked over to OPN. I saw lots of peopel there I hadn't seen in a while gosling, ceo, and browngirl were there when I arrived. browngirl answered the door when I rang, and had such a look of suprise in her face. :-) I know I've been out of touch with a lot of this crowd for a while, as gosling had the I know I've seen you before, but who are you reaction. :-)

I shortly there after got to tell the "What's been happening to me recently story". Now all I need are "28 (8X10) Color Glossies with circles and arrows, and a paragraph on the back of each to be used in evidence against me". :-) and someone else asked what diety I'd pissed off.... :-)

The next to arrive were hammercock and trowa_barton. I haven't seen hammercock since the after Arisia party at her place where a bottle of my mead went and covered the ceiling, and the poor guy opening it.....

It was kinda weird, but good to see an old Ex of mine. She's getting married and moving to Scotland in a couple of weeks.

a few other people came and went, then marmota brought a CD-ROM he'd made for hammercock with some funny videos on it, which we watched for a bit... It started with the Muppets, "Manamena"... Then there was one called "Rock Bitch" which was a foreign music video, from Amsterdam I think someone said. This had some all female bacnd half nakked on the screen and right durring the middle of thier performance the singer dons a rubber glove and proceeds to give a demonstration of the subject matter of their song, "Fisting"... Well I couldn't help my self as she is counting off the number of fingers she starts to use I start doing the Seasame Street Counts Laugh.... :-) Three fingers , Ah ha ha....

I left shortly there after intending to head out to ManRay, but by then it was 11 and I was starting to feel tired so I went home and crashed....

This morning has also been pretty good. I got up and got a lot of trash put out, I also started just throwng away things that I don't really need and don't want to even try to deal with packing up to store. X-mas tree, etc.... I haven't even thought about the crap on the back porch.... There is just SOOO much. I got to work, and it's been a quiet day so far. ;-) All I've had to do is sit and play on ly and check my mail.

I will remember tyo get lunch today...
