Ouch, Ouch , Ouch......

lensmanEvery muscle in my body hurts...
I'm tired, bruised and oh so sore.....
In other words I've moved.... Nearly 9 years of my life I've been in that Apt. There was at least 18 bags of garbadge, (and shovels and rakes and implements of destruction).... I ghot to smash up a couple of pieces of furniture, and threw out my old bike that I haven't ridden in 12 years. I kept meaning to fix it up and start ridding again, but...... life just kept getting in the way.
Digging through all of that was like an archelogical dig through my life. I found stuff from when![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
fuzcat lived there. Stuff from when my ex-wife lived there, the wedding album, stuff from the consulting buisiness I used to own. Even some stuff from when I was going to school.
Hauling everything I was keeping off to storage, and putting the rest out to the curb. Sorting through it all was the most exhausting part of the whole process. Add to that the heat from the last couple of days. Well the workout was probably good for me.
Yesterday I closed out the rest of the accounts in my name gas, electric, phone (I've had the same phone number for the last 11 years) Wheee... The Apt looks so bare now. I still have a couple of items left to pick up, and I have to do the change of address on all the rest of the contact points.
B has been such a big help through all of this. (Thank you)

Date: 2002-08-01 07:55 am (UTC)I had paid a friend to pack up various pieces of my life that had been sitting around the Apt. and with B's help I had hired movers to move all the packed boxes, good furniture, and apliences to storage.
So I thought I had it all covered there would be some loose ends, and clean up of the Apt. It just turned out that the loose ends were bigger than I had barganed for.
