What a weekend

Sat. My usual RP game. Went pretty good actually, I need to think of what to do next with my character.... So many Exp, so little time to think about them.
Left the game early to go see the Extended LotR:TTT That was fun. I like it on the big screen you can see SOO much detail.
Sunday I got up far too early to swing by storage, and then it was off to a 2PM Arisia meeting.. The first part of that went until 6pm when the snow started to fly. I was supposed to meet![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
nazier for dinner, which had already been rescheduled three or four times, but with both the snow and the work that still needed to be done for the convention, I had to cancle at the last minute on her. (Sorry!)... At that point then "the few, the proud, the utterly insane" of us working as division heads went to my office to bang out the last of the problems we could find in the Hotel Resume (This is the document we give the hotel that tells them in detail when we want what, and how we want it). Working on this only took us until a little after midnight. Then it was waiting for the printouts, and burning a new master copy to disk. We didn't get out of here till after 1AM, and then the ride home...
To make matters worse B was still waiting up for me worried about the road conditions, and my safety, so she couldn't get to sleep.
Sheesh the roads were "FLOODED" the snow had turned to rain and slush, and must have clogged up every drain. There was one point on Rt2 where I thought it might even come close to drowning my SUV... But other than that it was actually a pretty quick ride back home, and it didn't seem all that bad handling wise. The plows were out in better force than they had been in the last storm. (Or at least it seemed that way).
For some reason I couldn't just fall asleep when I got home, and we got up earlier than usual to allow for traffic, which thank goodness just didn't exist. So we sailed in pretty easily.
