lensmanWhich leaves me time to catch up on LJ and think about even posting a bit myself...
Yeah I know I only post sporadically... but I hope to change that, I hope to get myself into posting more... We'll see how that goes...
So what have I done recently....
Last night I finished up work earlier than expected. B was going to go hang out with her friend and maybe hit a mall or something, so on my way out of work I decided that I would go to the store myself.
B and I have been staying up way too late catching TV shows that we both enjoy. But this has started to becoe a bit of a problem getting enough sleep to get to work at reasonale times....
My solution to this problem: More technology... I got us a 17" flat panel LCD High Def TV. It's not too bad and I got it on sale....
Went picked it up got it home and instaled, all before B even ended up leaving her office... :-) While I was at it I also got one of the AC's into the bedroom window for the summer.
I had been waffeling between that or getting a new digital camera, before the trip to San Diego... I'm still thinking about gettin a digital camera. but I haven't settled completely on what model I want... I've been leaning toward the Cannon PowerShot G5...
Work has also thrown another new toy my way a 512Mb USB memory stick. I like getting these toys... (so that makes a set of three I have now: Microsoft gave me a 32Mb one last year, I got a 64Mb one from one of the Dept's I work witha few months ago.)
B and I have started looking at house plans... She hates walking up two flights of stairs, especially when she wants to bring in packeges or bags.... We also are wanting more "space", (ie we don't want to be on top of our neighbors) We'd like a bit more of the Gryphon Grove but closer to the city, since I'm going to have to keep working with a good pay check for quiet some time yet. Alhough I can see light at the end of the tunnel. (Although I know it's the head lamp of the on-comming trian that is my daughters "college education"...)
More and more of the San Diego trip is comming together. My plane tickets have come in, and we need to get on B's. Next on that aganda, after her tickets, is to look at Hotels and plan our driving route from SD to SF. (Thanks to everyone who's responded to those queries. I'm figuring three days to drive up the coast, which will hopefully give us a couple of days in SF...)
